The Stormpaw Philosophy: Play on your time

The Stormpaw Tribe is built on a foundation of respect and creative freedom. Our goal is to foster a mature, drama-free, and open role-play environment where everyone can explore their own unique stories without fear of judgment.

INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM & PRIVACY
  • Your Time, Your Content: You decide how you spend your time. We have zero interest in policing the content you choose to engage in, the zones you visit, or the gear you wear.
  • Zero Stalking: Your private activities are your business alone. We will never monitor or pass judgment on what you do when you are not actively engaging with the Guild.
  • The Golden Rule: We only intervene if a member's actions are actively disrupting another player's experience or violating server rules.
CREATIVE CHARACTER FREEDOM (IC)
  • Multi-Cultural & Broad: We embrace a wide range of characters: the devout and the wicked, warriors and warlocks. We value complex writing and flawed characters.
  • No Police Line: We will never police the kind of character you choose to write. If a character's actions or persona are not to your personal taste, you are always free to not engage with them.
IC vs. OOC
  • Separate the Art from the Artist: A character's behavior, moral alignment, or poor choices are NOT a reflection of the player writing them. Calling a player "yikes" or personally targeting them because they choose to write a villain or problematic character is not acceptable.
  • Respect the Writer: If you dislike a character, that is a fine OOC opinion. Always address the story or the character, never the person behind the keyboard.
COMMUNITY & CREATIVE SUPPORT
  • Zero-Judgment: We are committed to a safe atmosphere where you feel comfortable discussing character lore, sharing artwork, and asking for advice.
  • Encouraging Creativity: Whether it's a sketch, a commission, or creative writing, we welcome it all! Share, brainstorm, and get feedback in a supportive environment.
RIGHT TO REFUSE

More as a general rule, but if the guild is doing content that you just aren't in the mood for (mythics, joining a group event, etc), you always have the right to say no. You will never be judged for this, nor will it be used against you at any point in time.

The Extremes Rule

These are our general philosophies, and obviously extremes are handled more on a case-by-case basis. HOWEVER, and I want to be very clear here, the GM and Officers are here as players first, and moderation second, which is why I wanted to outline our philosophies clear as day.

We are STRONGLY against using mass-invite addons, and consider it as spam. Any use of these types of addons will result in immediate removal from the guild. NO EXCEPTIONS.
